Founded by exiled filmmakers and producers Reza and Sara Bird, NXT ANIMAL is a creative studio run with passion and resilience. They were forced to leave Iran in 2016 due to increasing threats related to their work. Since then, they have moved to LA and conceived the idea for this studio, which started as a remote production during the pandemic.

NXT ANIMAL has rapidly gained attention for its impactful coverage of global events, including the Ukraine war and the Iran uprising. Their projects have not only achieved significant engagement on social platforms but have also been highlighted in various publications, including Pentagon magazines.

Reza is also an avid writer on the business of art and humorously admits to being a really bad guitar player. Sara dedicates her life outside the studio to nurturing their son, Daniel Bird, who has authored two books by the age of 11.
